Persepolis è una graphic novel, ma anche un film d’animazione che ho da poco noleggiato e guardato. Fatelo anche voi. In giro per la rete leggo commentare così: «è un film palesemente filo-comunista» oppure «poteva essere fatto meglio, poi la protagonista è una donna, figuriamoci». Vorrei, ma non aggiungo altro.

… ed è in gran forma, come l’ho conosciuto negli anni ‘80. Parlo ovviamente di Indiana Jones, o meglio dell’ultima pellicola della premiata ditta Lucas/Spielberg: il regno del teschio di cristallo.
Prenoto i biglietti con largo anticipo, così da avere ottimi posti, per poi lasciare a casa la fidanzata preferendo la compagnia di mia Zia, anche lei fan delle avventure del dottor Jones. Così venerdì sera ci troviamo davanti al grande schermo, a fianco del solito pirla cellullare dipendente, per nulla interessato agli avvenimenti in sala, a cui squilla il telefono ogni quindici minuti. Ma stare a casa no?
A parte la cafonaggine di alcuni spettatori, il film è risultato piacevolissimo. Harrison Ford è grandioso, per nulla schiavo del botox, si mostra corredato di rughe, eppure in una forma invidiabile. Il co-protagonista Shia LaBeouf interpreta Mutt, giovane motociclista ribelle che fa coppia perfetta con Indy, dimostrando invidiabile maestria nonostante l’età da liceo: bella la trovata del pettine perennemente impegnato ad aggiustare il ciuffo anni ‘50… coadiuvato a volte dall’uso di bibite zuccherose.
Da Lucas e Spielberg c’è da imparare, sono tra i pochi a tenere in vita personaggi e storie rinnovandoli ad ogni nuova incarnazione cinematografica, quando solitamente - si sa - i sequel sono tutt’altro che invitanti e raramente meglio dei primi episodi.
Indiana è tornato, con tutto il serraglio di meraviglie al seguito, e tornerà di nuovo, c’è da scommetterci!

I built the ball machine because I thought my dog Jerry, might like it and that it would be something fun for me to build. So after two years of on and off work, with many safety features such as IR proximity sensors to protect Jerry and my son from the machine, I finally complete.

Far from being a replacement for me, I was always right there with him enjoying his fun.
